The first wedge for IPE should be electronics assembly, firmware flashing, repair, and bench verification.

That is the best initial fit because the work naturally depends on:

- repeatable procedures
- station-specific equipment
- serial numbers and revisions
- test artifacts and logs
- human judgment plus traceable evidence
- frequent handoff between local and remote expertise

## First-use workflows

### Assembly

- pull the current build or job
- verify the parts and revision context
- walk the procedure
- capture observations and exceptions
- record completion evidence

### Flashing

- select the target board or device
- connect the station toolchain
- run the flash procedure
- capture flash logs and versions
- record success, failure, and recovery steps

### Repair

- intake the unit
- capture symptoms and baseline evidence
- inspect against known procedures
- attach diagnostic data
- record the fix, parts used, and final test result

### Test and verification

- run the bench test
- ingest results from tools or watched folders
- attach results to the job
- mark pass/fail with an explanation
- preserve the trail for review

## Why this wedge works

- The workflows recur often enough to justify productization.
- The domain already has structure, but current tools are fragmented.
- Evidence matters operationally, not just administratively.
